This tool is a genuinely easy, user-friendly, and affordable way to make sure your monitor is always calibrated. I just purchased a Colormunki Display (CD) unit and have installed the software and done an update of the CD software on Windows 10. So useful for photographers who use a projector to show galleries during in-person sales meetings. Another neat thing about the ColorMunki Display is that you can even use it to calibrate a projector. Another cool feature is you can set it to monitor the ambient lighting near your computer and update your screen to account for the available light. This is useful because unfortunately monitors do change over time, so I set mine up to remind me to calibrate every four weeks. Another great feature is that you can set the software to remind you to re-calibrate at certain intervals. The before-and-after feature at the end was really nice, because it showed me how it changed the appearance of my screen and how it made my monitor brighter and my colors more accurate. It then calibrated my monitor and changed my monitor settings for me, so I didn’t have to do a thing or dig through any monitor settings myself.

I popped the software CD in and installed it, and started up the wizard. I was worried it would take a lot of time and possibly be confusing, but I was so wrong! I recently used the X-Rite ColorMunki Display to calibrate my monitor and my first impression was that it was SO easy to use! I got this new monitor fairly recently and the color seemed really good so I had slacked on calibrating it until now, which I know is a major mistake! So some (more or less irrelevant) things cant be done with the CM, but if speed is no concern for you they are quite similar.
